My vision board sits right in front of my desk. A quiet reminder.
I have purposely kept my calendars empty. Courtesy also to my recovering left hand. It has allowed me to pause and reflect.
I don’t know what the next day will bring. There is a certain joy in doing things just for the sake of doing them, without linking them to a big goal. There’s so much breathing space in this way of living. A soft permission to simply be.
On days like these, I notice where my energy flows. And that noticing is quietly showing me what makes me feel most alive.
I’m slowly shutting the voices that tell me to keep doing things that no longer excite me. I reach out to people whose work I connect with. And I feel lucky to receive warm responses from many of them. It reminds me that curiosity and sincerity can open more doors than certainty.
I’m also applying to things I feel drawn to, even if I’m not great at them yet. That includes filling out forms, preparing applications, and sending quiet wishes out into the universe. I am letting my imperfection be a statement of who I am right now.
I’m making peace with people and situations that didn’t go as I hoped. And I’m choosing not to let them stop me from being curious again. What if this time, it works?
I’m calling this my year of experiments. A year of just being. Of walking slowly toward my dreams and manifesting the wholeness of life.
And somehow, this energy is drawing in the right people, books, and opportunities. What I’m seeking is also seeking me.
I’m keeping myself available to the NOW (the moment).
