How can I restart?
Hello! 🌻 This week, I found myself reflecting on how easy it is to forget that I’m a human being—and how life can sometimes just take over. ✨
About a year and a half ago, I completed a 10-day Vipassana meditation course. I had every intention of continuing the practice, but life happened, and I fell out of it. Recently, after completing a Nervous System Mastery program, I felt a pull to bring meditation back into my life—because I remembered how much calmness it brought to my soul.
Instead of regretting what I didn’t do, I decided to give myself some grace. Life takes over sometimes, and that’s okay. I started thinking about how I could gently bring meditation back without forcing it.
The answer? Pair it with something I already love.
For the last two weeks, I’ve been stacking it onto my morning routine—after my walk and stretching, I now add breathing exercises and meditation. At first, I tricked my mind: “Just close your eyes for a minute,” I’d tell myself. Gradually, it grew from there.
And you know what? I’m not aiming to be a super human being. I allow life to take over some days, and that’s fine. If I can practice 80% of the time, that’s good enough for me.
Take a little pause 🌼
Think of a practice that used to bring you calm.
How can you make it simple to start again?
Which existing habit could you pair it with?
Give it a try!

My moment of pause/calm🌿
This week, I’ve been reading two books at once—both reminding me what it means to be human. I’m also swapping my night scrolling for bedtime reading, and it’s helping me calm my racing thoughts and sleep more peacefully.
What have you heard, seen, or done this week that brought you a moment of calm? I’d love to hear! 💛
