Some days, it feels like there was some magic inside me that just disappeared. Yesterday, it was there, alive and pushing me, but today? Nowhere to be found. Oh, hello? I need you.
I've noticed that not everything blooms in every season, so I try to give myself that nurturing space to just be. But sometimes, I can't help but wonder, how many autumns does my body really need? 😉 And more importantly, how many can my finances afford? 😜
I've also noticed that when I'm in this dead space, I start looking for something -anything - to pop up and bring the magic back. I refresh my emails, scroll through social media, hoping for that one opportunity to reignite the spark. But life doesn’t always work the way I want it to. (I wish it did.)
So this week, when my magic went on an extended stroll and decided to play hide-and-seek, I asked myself: What can I do to keep this magic in my energy jar?
Here is what I am experimenting with:
Morning walks. No motivation required—I can actually do this every single day. Move, Rachna, move!
Sticking to one goal a day. A to-do list helps. Without one, I’ve managed to browse the entire Internet (currently LinkedIn)
Writing down 10–15 small goals for my free time. Making them specific with clear outcomes. Picking one at a time and actually finishing it.
Sharing the outcome with the world. Because my brain loves a good accountability trick.
Noticing what I keep avoiding. Is it fear of not knowing? Or does the outcome just not matter to me anymore?
Working on projects with a handsome payout. Money is a surprisingly good motivator. Attracting money and projects my way. 😉 Also, I recently found an old notebook where I had written affirmations… might as well put them to use!
Meeting a friend and telling them about my missing mojo. Turns out, they lose theirs too. It's oddly comforting, not in a sadistic way, just a deeply human one. 😆
Asking my nervous system to please cooperate. (Still waiting on a response.)
Not everything works. And some days? Nothing works. And that’s okay too. 😉
Experimenting continues for a lifetime…

Great post as always Rachna! I definitely hear you on the internal restlessness when you're just not feeling the magic. I've been getting back into affirmations myself actually and I'm finding a lot of encouragement there. I'm also due for a trip to the ocean - that always seems to clear the cobwebs in my brain!
